He is qualified Optometrist with degree, bachelor of optometry. He specialised in treating refractive disorders by spectacles , contact lenses and vision therapy. He is also capable of detecting primary eye diseases and eye problems. He has been trained by L.V.Prasad Eye Institute Hyderabad for contact lens fittings and management.

He regularly organises eye check camps, schools vision screening programmes, Optometry Education Programmes, etc.

He has been awarded many times by SLK Optometry Foundation, New Delhi in appreciation of selfless services.
